Handmade toy makers, doll makers, fiber artists and seamstresses need to keep careful watch over the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act becoming law next month.

Here’s a little bit of news specifically about the current state of the rural economy of the Midwestern states.

It seems to me the most interesting discussion of the needs of a rural economy comes out of Great Britain.

The House Stimulus proposal does include rural America, in fact the House Democrats’ $825 BILLION stimulus package designates spending specifically in rural areas.

And China’s economy has now overtaken Germany. Read all about it!
